Victimization is the heinous and unjust singling out or taking advantage of a vulnerable individual or group, which is never ok!

It is important to be able to identify the warning signs before it’s too late.

What is even more detrimental is the unresolved and complex lingering trauma that continues to devastate while the healing process is neglected.

Whether consciously or subconsciously, some choose to ignore the warning signs of victimization and often suffer in silence due to humiliation, pain, anger, fear, shock, and confusion. These reactions are normal and common in the aftermath of being victimized.
